Every year a week or so before Christmas, the boats in Newport Beach get all decorated with lights and parade around the harbor, past similarly-decorated expensive fishbowl houses on the shore. At the end of the parade there's a fireworks show on the beach. Some of the decorations may be a bit tacky, but going to see it is always a fun way to get into the holiday spirit, and this year was no exception.
