UCI campus architecture and typography
Finally, a batch of photos that aren't just travel and family snapshots. Last Saturday afternoon I took a walk around the UCI campus with the aim of photographing some of the campus architecture and typography. Finally, after 15 years of walking past it twice a day, I was inspired to take some photos of the doomed Gehry IERF building (for which it seems especially appropriate to use my icon from another Gehry building); also one of the new Maya Lin designed fountain for Fine Arts, and several of the lettering and signage around campus.
Here are some thumbnails; for more and larger see the gallery. I'll likely be posting some of these more gradually in photometric more gradually over the next few weeks.
